Lee Bo Young began her career as a model, winning the 2000 Miss Daejeon/South Chungcheong Province beauty contest, and modeling for Asiana Airlines. She later made her debut as an actress, and has appeared in several television drama series. In 2008, Lee starred alongside Park Yong-woo in “Once Upon a Time”, her first major film role, and received a nomination for Best New Actress at the 44th Baeksang Awards. She also appeared with Hyun Bin in the film “I am Happy” in the same year.
